SCIT Olympic, hosted by the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), is the premier computing and information technology competition for student at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). The first of its kind in Jamaica, this team-based event consists of various teams of 3 students vying for the championship titles, each battling to the end in 8 different sectional competitions. Each team must prove themselves in the areas of innovation, creativity, tenacity, competence in their areas of specialization as well as having nerves of steel.

The sectional competitions are:

3. Programming
4. Research Paper
5. Game Development
6. Web Page Development
7. Hacking
8. Poster Design
