Rules
1. Images must be at least 1024px by 768px (landscape or portrait layout)
2. Web colours must be used
3. Design must be original. All software and artifacts used to create the poster should be declared.
4. Once a poster has been submitted, its submission is viewed as final and cannot be resubmitted with modifications, but may be withdrawn if the participant so desires.
5. All submissions must be ORIGINAL ENTRIES and should not have been entered into any other competitions locally or overseas. Posters submitted in previous competitions will be voided.
6. Images must be saved as one of the following formats: jpeg, tiff, bitmap, png
8. The design must reflect the theme of the Olympic
9. Contestants must submit 2 copies of the design, 1 with the names and ID numbers of the persons in the group and the other without.
10. Designs will be judged using the following criteria:
- Creativity[40%]
- Composition[20%]
- Closeness To Theme[30%]
- Hype-ability[10%]
11. Each team will be given 1 (preferably 3) computer systems with the following graphics programs*:
- Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Adobe Illustrator
- Macromedia Fireworks
- Corel Paintshop
- Corel Draw
*Trial versions may be used
12. Each team will be given 1 hour to start and complete the design.
13. Prefabricated designs may not be used.
14. Unedited photographs may be used in the design; however, such photographs must be submitted no later than 2 days prior to the competition.
